10-watt Modeling Amp with Optional USB Battery Power

The Vox Mini Go 10 portable practice amp gives you 10 watts of bedroom-friendly output and more tones than you can shake a stick at. In addition to some pretty spot-on models of the Normal and Top Boost channels of a cranked AC30, the Mini Go 10 puts a backline of iconic British and American amps and immersive studio effects right at your fingertips. Mic and instrument inputs make this amp a convenient practice option for guitarists and singer/songwriters. You also get an 1/8-inch auxiliary input and a flat-EQ Line setting for enjoying your music library between jam sessions. Solo session? Flip a dial, and the Vox Mini Go 10 will give you 33 different rhythm tracks and a tap-tempo feature to zero in on the right grooves for your songs. There's even a 40-second looper onboard to add dynamic chord progressions and vocal hooks to your riffs. Want to take your music on the road? Connect the Mini Go 10 to a compatible USB power bank*, and you've got unlimited running time from the beach to the stage. Take it from Sweetwater: if it's great on-the-go tone you're after, the Vox Mini Go 10 is one practice amp that literally goes the distance.

*Note: Requires a USB power bank with a current rating of 1.5A or greater.

Great tone — to go!

The Vox Mini Go 10's inspiring tones and compact size make it the ultimate busking and travel platform. Whether you're learning songs, woodshedding, or capturing ideas at home, the Mini Go 10 is portable, capable, and packed with inspiration.

Wall or battery powered

In addition to accepting wall power via the included power supply, the Vox Mini Go 10 can also be powered from a wide range of third-party USB power banks. This takes the portability and runtime of the Mini Go 10 to unseen heights. Camping, vacationing, location filming with the ultra-portable Vox Mini Go 10 — great tone is just a stone's throw away.

VET modeling technology

The Mini Go 10 is powered by Vox's groundbreaking Virtual Element Technology (VET). VET models guitar amplifiers and effects circuits down to their component levels. This gives you an experience like that of playing through a pedal-stacked mini tube amp anywhere you jam — at home, at the office, on vacation, or busking around town. With the Vox Mini Go 10, you can enjoy the sag, punch, chime, and grind of all your favorite American and British amplifier designs anywhere the inspiration strikes.

Nine amps, eight effects models

The Mini Go 10 is the ultimate jam and practice solution. Its nine VET amp models include Vox's own AC30 Normal and Top Boost channels, brawny Brit 800 and Double Rec models, and a scooped-mids clean Deluxe CL. But the tone journey doesn't stop there. Along with the amp models, you get to fine-tune your sound with eight VET effects models (two simultaneous). You'll have instant access to chorus, phaser, tremolo, and octave effects, in addition to two flavors each of reverb and delay — all without plugging in a single stomp. There's even a vocoder effect for creative tone dabbling, as well as an 1/8-inch aux input and flat-EQ Line setting for enjoying music from your phone or tablet.

Mic and instrument inputs

Whenever a singalong or karaoke party breaks out, the Vox Mini Go 10 has you covered. Plug in a mic and a guitar, and you're ready to channel Gordon Lightfoot. Or connect your phone or laptop via the 1/8-inch aux in jack and access endless karaoke tracks from your music library or preferred streaming service.

Onboard rhythm section

No band in sight? No problem! The Mini Go 10 has 33 rhythm patterns and a tap-tempo feature that will ensure you'll find the right groove to your song.

40-second looper

Want to audition lead lines over a chord progression you just wrote? The Vox Mini Go 10 gives you 40 seconds of loop time, making this little amp a solid songwriting companion.

Awesome Amp. Love the looper. Two Steps Forward, One Step Back

I like Vox products and this is a good upgrade to my Mini5 Rhythm. The biggest difference I noticed were the amp models and how it responds to adjusting the Gain and Tone on the Mini Go. It is 10x better because I can use the same amp model clean, crunchy, or straight up dirty. Whereas the Mini5 had amp models specifically meant to be a high gain or clean channel.

The speakers and quality of the sound itself? I think it is great to my ears. It doesn't really sound boxy or tinny compared to the speakers on my Mini5 at full wattage.

My favorite feature now is the on board looper. I don't own or ever use a loop pedal because I was bad at it. This thing is different. The loop doesn't start recording until you start playing. I don't know why but no matter how off my timing is when I'm trying to save the loop it always sound good. I think it is programmed to adjust the loop and make it sound as fluid as possible. There can be a significant delay from when the loop starts from where it ends if you're intentionally trying to do it.
The looper overdub though, it works wonderfully. There's a light that will switch to orange and it is so easy to add layers. Play something and then stop, the extra loop will start playing. Now you can toggle off the overdub or keeping adding layers using the same or different amp models and settings. However, there had been a few times when it wanted to overdub while I was trying to play a new loop. The light would turn orange instead of red for a new loop and every time I played something it wouldn't work properly. So I would have to turn the amp off and on again.

There are four things that Vox changed and that I dislike. First, there are now 1/3 of the amount of drum tracks the mini5 had. Second, they replace the tempo knob for the drum tracks with a tap tempo. Third, some of the effects like the compressor was replaced with an octave. Lastly, when the headphones are plugged in the sound is not the same as the Mini5. It sounds compressed like you're hearing the amp in another room.

I would recommend this amp. If you're coming from the previous generation you might have the same opinions. However, if you never tried these series then this is a solid amp. It can get really loud or quiet for late night practice.

There is also a compatible switch pedal you can buy separate to control the looper and drum tracks.

Close to perfect

Built in looper and drum machine, take anywhere with USB power bank, nice amp sim options.....it is the complete package.
Have had a blast trying out all the options without reading the manual, very intuitive to operate. I don't need a mic so the input jack doesn't matter to me. Effects are on par with what one would expect. Adjustable power settings are a real plus, it can get loud.
A+ experience as always when purchasing gear from Sweetwater and my sales engineer Dave Brow, been using Sweetwater for years and it is great to talk to the same person every time.

Great little practice or small jam amp!

This is a fully-featured little amp that's great for practicing in the bedroom or taking to small jam sessions. The built-in effects are good for a beginner who doesn't have any pedals yet. The rhythm and looping features are good for perfecting timing and solos.

Great amp.

I got this for my dad as an early birthday present. He was really only looking for a practice amp but he likes the tone so much he wants to start using it for gigs as well. The only negative thing I can say about it is the tuner doesn't seem to work very well but that isn't really an essential feature.
Music background: Mostly a bass player but also some guitar
