At times, you need to live out your own fantasy even if no one shares it with you; it's not about what others want but more about what you need_ THERE ARE GREAT BASSES out-there but this on e is mine; I felt a connection with the instrument as soon as I tried it, and guess who was there to deliver_ SWEETWATER isn't here when I want 'something', there here when I needed something, and I NEEDED THIS BASS, and they delivered in perfect condition; as a matter of fact, this was my birthday gift to myself, so it's symbolic not only of a celebration of my life but aligning my interests head-on with my passion for sound_ The IBANEZ PNB14E is vibrato dream for any ACOUSTIC bass player who wants develop a unique style and sound; no two vibratos are ever the same, and in the conquest of seeking perfect vibrato for bass, I don't think there's any other model out there that offers versatility, the low-action, and unbeatable price with the high-end name that is IBANEZ TOGETHER WITH SWEETWATER MUSIC!!

Great plugged in and unplugged!

Great little bass, I run it through a fender rumble 100 and it sounds amazing, it's super loud for its size unplugged so it makes for great campfire jams, and your not scared to take it in the woods

Sounds fat!!

I've been playing this bass for over a year now. I tried the very expensive Taylor mini bass, but the extra 1.5" scale on the Ibanez works much better. I play in an Americana trio, and this bass sounds very much like an upright bass through a sound system. I've stopped hauling my upright (I'm 70, y'all) and looking for ease. I also have a Fender 32" scale acoustic bass guitar, and the Ibanez sounds better for our music, and it's easier on my fingers. It's a keeper.
