The Mustang Revamped

The Fender Mustang GTX100 is the latest and most advanced addition to the Mustang line. Featuring an updated amp, speaker, cabinet models, 200 presets, and a wide selection of effects, this combo modeling amp means business. Each feature of the amplifier has been meticulously developed to provide the best tone possible. Producing 100-watts of power, the amp drives a specially-tuned 12" Celestion speaker. The Mustang GTX is Wi-Fi enabled to download new presets and amplifier updates. And the wireless control doesn't stop there. The free Fender TONE 3.0 smartphone app gives you total control of all effects with realistic knobs, while Bluetooth connectivity enables seamless audio playback. If you're ready for a new modeling amp, the Fender Mustang GTX100 is going to blow you away.

The best sounding Mustang yet

Trying to emulate the sound and feel of your favorite classic guitar amplifiers can be intimidating. Luckily, the Mustang has access to a massive collection of artist-designed presets for you to experiment with. When you get more comfortable with creating your own presets, you can take full advantage of the Mustang GTX's fully-configurable signal path. This lets you move any effect to any spot in the chain with a touch of a button. The only limit to the number of possible tones is your creativity.

Wireless connectivity keeps your amp up to date

With the introduction of the GT series, Fender exposed the world to Wi-Fi-enabled amplifiers. The Mustang GTX amplifiers build on this groundbreaking feature by offering total smartphone control. The free Fender TONE 3.0 smartphone app serves up a sleek look and feel while you twiddle the knobs on some of the most well-known effects and amplifiers the world has ever seen. Fender exclusive Wi-Fi connectivity offers seamless product updates so your amp keeps evolving with Fender's modeling technology. And if that's not enough, the Fender GTX100 has Bluetooth streaming capabilities so you can play along to your favorite songs.

Specially-designed Celestion speaker

The Fender Mustang GTX100 produces 100 watts of digital power for band practice and gigging. The specially-designed 12" Celestion speaker has been voiced to provide you with a perfectly flat response. This ensures that the speaker sounds just right, whether you're using it to model a Bassman or streaming your favorite hits. Best one yet!

I've had my GTX100 for well over a year now a gig with it twice a month. My previous amps were good. I up graded from a Mustang IV to a Mustang III v2 and now to the GTX100. Amazing how Fender has improved on these modeling amps over the last 10 years. Remember the Cyber-twin? So much more to offer now and so much better in price.

I go through our PA through the XLR and still have an active speaker with volume on stage. Keeps up with my loud drummer.

Foot pedal is easy to use as well as is the looper function. Built in tumer is a must and works well.

The Fender tone AP is very useful as well and expands the versatility, fine tuning and amps abilities. There are 100s of downloads of community patches.

Overall very happy with this amp. Good for home studio use as well as live gigs with a full band. I look forward to the next generation and improvements.

Perfectly Nailed Tones Makes It Worth It

You name it,you can get (or program) any amp you want out of this baby,it has Mesas,Marshalls,Voxes and so many other amps programmed into it. I own the GTX 100 and it is plenty loud for live gigs, even without having to go through a PA.Iam more than happy with this amp and you'll be too!It is easy to program and has tons of quality effects you can use

Great Little Amp!

Great tone, very easy to program. I just got it today and am getting my own presets already! These modeling Amps are getting better and better...thanks again to Mike Harris at Sweetwater for hooking me up with this! Always a pleasure to deal with!

No Regrets

So initially I purchased the GTX50 (I left a review on that item) and had some frustrating issues with Bluetooth and Firmware Updates. I decided I should either exchange or upgrade to the GTX100. I decided to upgrade after seeing the perfect reviews on this item and I am so glad I did. The Bluetooth connects immediately each and every time. The Firmware Updates were fast and didn't crash. I am so excited about this Amp and to finally be able to utilize all the features. Also the included GTX7 is a nice bonus too!!

Blues Junior and Then Some

I have had the Fender Blues Junior on my wish list for a long time now after playing thru one at a random jam - my guitar was singing that night. The $670+ price tag always brought me up short. When I saw it was one of the models on this amp, and after watching Fender's demo video, and it having stereo line outs along with a speaker, along with bluetooth jam mode and 199 other amp models for $499 I thought...sounds pretty good lol.

I must say that when i pulled it out of the box I was a bit taken aback at the diminutive size of the cab. Well, any reservations were quickly quashed once I started running thru the models. On a relatively clean setting it was plenty loud at 9-10 o'clock on the master, but I decided to see what happened when I turned it up all the way. I was sitting right in front of it in my 10' x 13' office studio and it just got effing loud, but clean as could be. No break up, the speaker delivered completely, no out of control feedback, no feeling the amp was struggling to deliver the power. It made me feel like the engineers perfectly balance the design.

I've used several modeling components and SW - PodPro, Eleven Rack, S-Gear, Overloud, IKM, Guitar Rig and this thing beats them all on the tube response realism. The EQ is super responsive. The effects are just unbeatable, as is the response to the guitar volume knob setting. Funnily enough, or maybe no surprise, the Blues Junior model (#168 from the factory) is where I have landed as a go to. I can get that Michael Schenker tone with an Fulltone OCD in front. I ran thru all the models the first night - so many well named, fun and useful presets. Rock on.

P.S. My hesitation on a full 5 star rating is the rotary encoder is a bit sluggish when "spinning knobs" and there was a green + sign post amp as if another effect could be added, but I couldn't get it to add one and there was no prompt as to why. A couple of software issues that, in the latter case, can surely be resolved.
